Party favors with calendar and clock

WOW! Doesn’t time fly!

2009 is over already, well there is nothing left to do but celebrate 2010 right? Well, not quite. 2009 may  have been a year of change for many, but 2010 still leaves alot to do.

For the real estate industry there are many changes that 2010 brings – from mortgage, FHA specific or appraisal regulations.

With the market poised to have a great year – prices are trending up (sadly so are interest rates as the economy is recovering!) so the first few weeks and months of 2010 are likely the last best chance to take advantage of the market and grab that dream home here in Sedona!

So, whatever you are doing this New Years Eve to welcome in 2010 we hope you are safe and happy and with family and friends - here at AULT&ASSOCIATES in Sedona, Arizona we hope you have a great day!

April 23rd, 2009 cault Posted in Sedona Alternative Lifestyles, Sedona Beauty, Sedona activities, Sedona events, sedona Comments Off

Art is the name of the game in Sedona. The city has a very busy and trendy art scene which attracts artists from around the globe as well as across the nation.

Coming this May is Sedona’s Open Studio’s event on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd of May. However to start the weekend, on May 1st there is a double celebration with receptions at Sedona Arts Center and Kinion Fine Art, from 5 – 8 p.m., as part of the ‘1st Friday’ events.  This is a once-a-year opportunity to peek into the private art studios of some of the areas most exciting artists.

The trend of opening up Sedona’s work to the public started in the 1970’s and 80’s and this year the event celebrates with 30 participating studios. In some cases on the “tour route” there will be artists on site to discuss their works and chances for visitors to see the processes involved in creating the works of art.

In recent years Sedona’s alternative lifestyle and art scene has become extremely popular and has lead to a flood of people wishing to relocate to the area.

Sedona Arizona: Travel To Sedona and Hike!

April 14th, 2009 cault Posted in Arizona real estate, Oak Creek, Sedona events, Uncategorized, sedona real estate 3 Comments »

Sedona is such a popular destination that it often needs no introduction, however the Los Angeles Times has written a nice travel piece on Sedona urging travellers to take advantage of the lower gas prices at the moment and to get into their cars, hit the road and head to Sedona!

The article offers advice on where to stay, where to eat and some interesting pictures of the area!

This ties in nicely with Sedona’s new Hiking Community website: www.sedonahiker.com

This website and its launch by Sedona.biz LLC shows how popular hiking is in the Sedona area. Many people look at the red rocks and the Verde Valley and think what a great place to hike. There are numerous trails and if your feet hurt a little, you can always take a pink jeep tour!

The website is designed to be a social networking site for hikers who take advantage of Sedona’s landscape. However, it also offers a great chance for those visiting to see pictures and video of the area. Whats better? Well, the site is free and easy to use!

So come one, come all! Sedona is waiting for you!
