Sedona’s great art exhibitor and gallary – El Prado is presenting a new exhibit soon, called ”Arizona’s Little Hollywood” on Friday, Mar 5, 2010 in Sedona AZ.
El Prado by the Creek located in Tlaquepaque Village presents paintings of the landscapes that magnetized and mesmerized Hollywood as well as Joe McNeil’s new book Arizona’s Little Hollywood. The author will sign copies of his book on Friday, March 5 from 5 to 8 p.m. during the gallery’s exhibit of Sedona landscape paintings. Sedona after all provides a great inspiration for artists! For years artists have captured the wonderful vistas offered by the area on film, canvas and in writing.
In this case, for the first time Sedona’s role in Hollywood history is explored – McNeils book explores its movie making past in great detail. – Sedona of course played a vital role for westerns.
This is an event which is very exciting and a chance to find out more about Sedona’s history and art scene!
