Valentines Day in Sedona will celebrate more than romance this year, as everyone celebrates the centennial anniversary of Arizona. Bells will ring on February 14th at 2:14 when everyone is encouraged to participate in ringing every bell to be found, , including the commemorative souvenir bells, bells hanging in the Wayside Chapel in Uptown Sedona, and bell apps for your smart phone!
Bells will be the theme in Sedona Arizona on Valentines Day, when even bell shaped cookies will be handed out as a special treat, because bells all over the state were rung when Arizona became the 48th state 100 years ago. The Sedona Heritage Museum is a great place to enter to learn more about Arizona’s journey to statehood, where there is a special centennial exhibit on display.
Sedona is celebrating the centennial year with a number of celebrations which started this week. Whether you ring a real bell or a bell app on your phone, make sure you ring in the centennial celebration in Sedona on the 14th!
