Everything you ever wanted to know about Sedona Arizona, and more!
Desert USA is a great website with a wealth of information on different locations in Deserts across the nation, including here in Sedona, Arizona. Their extensive article is fabulous for those looking for a quick overview of the city.
The site lists key facts about the location in a clear, concise format. For instance it shows that the city is a massive 4,500 feet above sea level and benefits from a population numbering 16,000 people. Although written in a most tourist centric manner, the site can be forgiven due to its mass of information that it provides.
The weather averages range from a chilly low in January of 48F up to a high of 95F in July! Of course there is information about the local airport which serves the area with flights to Phoenix and the popular, Grand Canyon. There is also a great potted history of the area which starts off when early tribes started to settle the areas, right through to European settlement and up to the present day.
Their list of things to do is a great generic list that mentions: golfing, hiking, shopping, mountain biking, etc! Of course it could not go without mention that the arts and cultural scene is thriving!
What a great place to live!
