Sedona Arizona: Heritage Museum Celebrates its 10th Birthday Next Month!

The Sedona Heritage Museum celebrates its 10th Birthday in October 2008 (the 18th to be exact!) after a long decade the museum is still going strong!

Founded by the Sedona Historical Society back in 1998, the sucess of the museum is being recognised by many celebrations this fall. Firstly, on the actual day there will be a big party between 11am and 4pm for all to enjoy the museum, live music, fun and games and much, much more!

The museum entertains around 10,000 visitors a year and with an admission fee of just $3 and being open 7 days a week it is no wonder it is popular. Asides from the 350 million years of history the red rocks themselves provide and the 100 odd movies that have been made in Sedona there is a lot of ground to cover and spending a good afternoon is recommended. Although the museums main focus is from 1876 onwards!

There is a great gift shop where you can purchase books on Sedona as well as souvenirs from your visit.
