Sedona Arizona: Is your home up to code? The City of Sedona Explains!

Is your home up to code? Something which many people do not think about until it is too late! However the City of Sedona naturally takes code violations seriously, as residents of Sedona each have a responsability to ensure that the natural beauty of the city is preserved!

City Codes from "vacation rentals, holiday lights to overgrown weeds" area all enforced by the City Code Enforcer - currently a staff of 1.25 meaning that local citizens are relied apon as the eyes and ears of the enforcers to see if there are any violations. City codes are there to protect Sedona and since its Incorporation as a city in 1988 it has strived to preserve what has made it so great.

Of course being new to the city - i.e. just relocated here from another city or state, you may not be familiar with our codes, therefore taking time to read up is of vital importance! You can always contact the city for more information on local codes to ensure that you maintain compliance.
