Sedona Arizona Real Estate: Coconino National Forest

Great Day out for the family in your own back yard in Sedona, Arizona

Just north of Sedona is Flagstaff, the seat of Coconino County which is home to one of the nations most famous treasures, the Grand Canyon.

However this world famous site often overshadows the Coconino National Forest, an area of 1.8 million acres stretching from Sedona’s Red Rocks through to Ponderosa Pine Forests. It contains real diversity in landscapes, from arid desert through to alpine tundra.

The elevation of the area ranges from the southern plateau region which is 2,600 feet through to over 12,000! The several mountains in the forest are referred to as the San Francisco Peaks.

The sheer beauty of these landscapes attracts many visitors every year. If you are considering purchasing a property in the area then please contact Claudia Ault for professional Real Estate advice.
