Will Accessory Dwelling Units Help Sedona Affordable Housing?
Sedona Housing Commission considers ADUs
One of the problems facing Sedona real estate right now is affordable housing. As Sedona grows in its limited space, what there is available becomes more expensive.
In order to address the issue of Sedona affordable housing, the Housing Commission is considering accessory dwelling units (ADUs). Sedona.biz reports on these ADUs:
residential units with complete living facilities that are built on
the same lot as the primary single-family home, cannot currently be
rented legally in Sedona.
Public input is currently being sought in this Sedona affordable housing matter. Visit www.SedonaAZ.gov/housing to learn more about the affordable housing plan involving ADUs.
