Presidential Real Estate? Sedona Offers Getaway for John McCain

Arizona Senator and presidential hopeful John McCain comes to his Sedona real estate to esacape

Sedona is increasingly popular in terms of vacation home real estate. However, some Arizona locals have known about the allure and calming power of Sedona real estate for years. One of these Arizona locals is presidential hopeful John McCain, who owns Sedona real estate in the form of a "cozy" ranch.

The Washington Post reports on how McCain represents one of the growing incongruities of living in Sedona:

There is something surprising — perhaps even metaphysically
provocative — about the notion of Mr. Straight Talk in such close
proximity to what may be the nation’s highest proportion of
crystal-wielding psychics. McCain comes across as a
what-you-see-is-what-you-get guy, not terribly given to brooding or
introspective meditation. He is superstitious, sure, keeping a lucky
penny in his pocket, but it’s hard to imagine him buying a
"manifestation pyramid" at Sedona’s Crystal Castle, or going in to get
his chakras cleared.
