Sedona Chemtrails Offer Fodder for Discussion

Chemtrails: one of the hottest debates in Sedona

Environmentally related items are hot topics in Sedona lately. From the debate over whether to use gray water at the Arizona Snowbowl to Green Sedona urging the city to “go green” when choosing clean contractors, the environment seems to be everywhere. And that is true for the debate over Sedona Chemtrails.

This is a hot topic because some residents see Sedona chemtrails are seen as possibly dangerous to health. Sedona.biz reports on what chemtrails are:

Chemtrails, or contrails as they were originally coined because they look like the condensation trails from jet exhaust or wingtips, were first noticed in the late 1990s as large billowy white vapor plumes of smoke that appear too thick to be jet exhaust.

Chemtrails criss-cross each other, unlike contrails, which are straight. Additionally, it appears that chemtrails take a long time dissipate. Some residents in Sedona worry that chemtrails are used for weather control, or serve as tests for biological agents.

Scientists, however, say that chemtrails are really contrails, which can be dispersed and shaped by wind currents, and that there is nothing sinister about them.
