Sedona Will Go Green in Efforts to Kill Bugs

Green pesticides to be used by Sedona City

Sedona city goes green with pesticides and cleaning productsSedona City is continuing in its efforts to go green. The Sedona City Council recently voted to use green pesticides to kill bugs, rather than using bug killers that are harmful chemicals. Additionally, the city will address green cleaning products in its contracts with janitorial services. Red Rock News reports on what the founder of Green Sedona has to say about the move to green pesticides and cleaning products:

“The advantages are lower sickness rates, lower insurance rates, lower
liability for lawsuits against the city,” Turner said. “The community
as a whole will feel safer and the city will be reasonably
accommodating those with chemical disabilities, including those with
lupus and other immune system diseases.”
