Sedona has its own environmental organization, and it is working to make Sedona a model of sustainability. And one of the tips GreenSedona.org is giving regarding reducing the impact of Sedona on global warming is to switch out household products. Sedona.biz reports on some of the product solutions that can make your Sedona home green:
There are many natural solutions to these
products including essential oils for fragrance,
fragrance and dye free detergents, vinegar for
household cleaning and window washing, hydrogen
peroxide as a sanitizer, lemon juice as a
degreaser, natural soaps, shampoos, lotions that
have minimal or no VOCs, furniture polish (10
drops lemon oil, 2 tablespoons lemon juice, a
few drops olive oil or jojoba)…
