Sedona Schools Get Bond Boost

Sedona-Oak Creek School District passes its three ballot issues

The emphasis on quality Sedona schools is apparent in the community, as last week a school bond issue and two budget overrides passed. The Sedona-Oak Creek School District is looking at an additional $73.4 million bond, as well as budget overrides that should help Sedona schools maintain their high standards, reports the Red Rock News:


“This community, since I’ve been here, has always placed a high value on education,” [Sedona Red Rock High School principal David] Lykins said.
