As part of our week long series, "3 ways to know you’ve chosen the right realtor", today we are covering the second topic, Realtor Personality. There are several reasons a realtor’s personality is important.
Builds Raport Easily
You’ll want a real estate agent who can build raport with prospects easily. An agent should be ready to carry the conversation during a viewing. Of course, someone with excellent communicative skills will be able to seamlessly interrupt to point a unique feature and will rejoin the conversation with little trouble.
Is Firm But Gracious
During the offer phase, you’ll want an agent who not only can say No, but can say it in a way that makes the prospective buyer still want to continue negotiations.
Long Term Relationship
And you want an agent that makes you feel comfortable. You may be spending a great deal of time with her for the next few months, so be sure she’s someone you like and trust.
Choosing an agent is probably the most important decision you make when selling your house.
